Peaceful, quiet. Makes sense that Sun would come out here...He thought as he tread carefully through the garden, keeping a wary eye out for whatever it was that might lurk behind a tree or a bush. He finally came upon the plant he was looking for-aloe. He squatted down next to it with a grunt. He'd run out back at his makeshift infirmary and it was great for the little cuts, scrapes, burns and all the other little things people came running to him with. Always soothed the pain for them and it saved him a lot of time. He began to carefully pluck a few and slip them into the bag he'd brought, sweat slipping down his forehead, down his nose, and onto the well-tended ground beneath him. Morning all ready... Jack thought as he stood up, the first signs of morning spilling through the leaves of the trees. Pretty soon he'd have to be the doctor again. He'd tend to the little cuts and scrapes. Come up with solutions to petty problems. He closed his eyes and absorbed the quiet calm of the early morning. He loved these few precious moments of solitude he had on the way to his infirmary.

The noise from the people beginning to wake on the beach had driven her out here. The silence of the jungle was welcoming in the early morning when she didn't feel like listening to everyone getting up and starting their day. It was the noisiest time; just after the sun had risen up into the sky.
Kate wasn't quite sure where she was going; just following Sun's trail in hopes of picking up something edible from her garden for breakfast before she hiked through the jungle. It was going to be a fairly nice day. There was no point sitting around on the beach and letting it waste away.
Heading towards the little opening, she froze and hid herself slightly in the bushes when she saw someone was already there. Inching closer, she struggled for a moment to figure out who it was. Once she realized it was Jack, she walked forward, bushing a leaf away from her red tanktop. "Hey."
